Donald Trumps decision to nominate Sen. Jeff Sessions as attorney general is being met with alarm at the Justice Departments civil rights division and could trigger an exodus there, former officials said Friday. Longtime lawyers in the unit that enforces voting rights laws, conducts investigations into alleged police abuses and prosecutes hate crimes were already on edge about what Trumps victory would mean for their mission, but the selection of Sessions pushed those fears to another level, former officials said.

That “exodus” would be a big plus. I’d call it a “retreat from defeat”. Maybe they’ll get some time back in a Dept of Justice when they are indicted and interviewed for there many, many crimes.

I love your suggestions. Obama appointees were more political operatives than competent leaders.
The ones that don’t leave should be fired. Anyone who is ideologically opposed to Trump should be out. The worst kind are the termites who stay in their positions and keep eating away at the framework of good government.
