Michelle Obama is Democrats’ best bet for 2020, oddsmakers say

Michelle Obama says she wants nothing to do with politics now, but oddsmakers still say she’s got the best chance of any Democrat of winning the White House in four years.

Bovada, an online gambling site, says the odds of Mrs. Obama winning are 12-to-1. The next-best Democrats, Sen. Tim Kaine and Elizabeth Warren, get odds of 14-to-1.

By contrast three Republicans have higher odds: President-elect Donald Trump is a 2-to-1 bet to repeat, while Vice President-elect Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan are each given 10-to-1 odds.

Basically it is the only High Profile African American the Democrats have that will assure them of getting most of the Obama voters next Election cycle. They really have no other viable choice if they want a shot at the Oval office.

Agreed - they can't think beyond that - they have nothing to take out of their empty bag of treats so they must rely on the bag of tricks - just like all those calling Sessions a racist because a political enemy accused him of saying something (unproven) about the "KKK being OK" 3 decades ago and the Left makes all sorts of inferences while claiming that they did the research. The only research they did was to try to get more info on the incident because none of them seem to be aware of the fact that he desegregated schools and got the death penalty for a KKK head who murdered a Black teenager.

They know they have no "why you should vote for us" message so they have nothing but pathetic false attacks to rely on.

Even if he did say that, it was so obviously a joke. The joke wouldn’t have been funny if he didn’t think the KKK was evil. Same as Trump and the p-word remark: if the word hadn’t been extreme, it wouldn’t have served the purpose of the statement.

Political people on our side have to learn that you can’t make jokes. One mention of a loaded word, and the Left takes the whole thing the wrong way, intentionally, so they can make political hay out of it with stupid people, or else because they are just plain stupid and don’t understand humor.
