Students in Washington DC and other cities around the nation are again leaving school to protest the results of the US presidential election.
In Rockville, Maryland, just outside of the nation’s capitol, students at Richard Montgomery High School left classes around 10:00 AM to march to the courthouse to rally. The students carried printed signs reading “stronger together.”
Approximately 100 students walked out to protest, chanting “love trumps hate,” but the message seems to have been lost as a 15-year-old teenager was attacked and injured by student protesters shortly after the march began. The victim was receiving assistance from police at around 10:15 AM, and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
“They jumped him and beat him up pretty bad,” Max Stucky, a bystander who witnessed the attack, told WTOP. The victim had been wearing a hat supporting Trump when he was surrounded and attacked by at least four students.
No arrests have been made over the attack.

The students in the 60's and 70's were of the right age that they were going to be the ones sent overseas to die. Sent to die when American policy seemed to be to play for a stalemate. Sent to die when America's interest in the outcome was just as nebulous as any wars the neo-cons try to push us into nowadays. As much as not, it seems to be so we can get some use of our military spending so the politicians can justify more military spending.
Politicians in our government are capable of making bad decisions, and when they do, people should protest.

Not that I've heard of and I live the People's Republic of MC. At least one kid was arrested but I've heard 5 were involved.
Wish my kids were in High School so I could get the scoop on what is being said!
Give the little bastards an “F” for the semester. If the course gets a Sat or Unsat, give them a “U” “FU”S is all they should see on their report cards.
Ironic that such weak minded cretins use “Stronger Together” as their rallying cry/sob/whine/pule/whimper.......
If these students were sent to take Iwo Jima today, we would all be drinking tea and saying Konnichiwa to each other shortly after.
