two things come to mind:
a) the meeting between Obama and Trump was supposed to take no more than 20 minutes, it went nearly an hour and a half and Trump had a lunch appointment at 11:30 (CST I believe as I was watching from home) with Pence, McConnel and Ryan and some other GOP. He was already late to that event. May have been cancelled do to time constraints.
b) It may have been Mooch’s handler who thought a photo with Bigfoot standing next to a world super model would not be good for optics and would surely go viral.
c) Knowing the press pool, they were HOPING for a meeting, and were acting on a “tip” from some staffer that there “might be a photo op”. This seems to be the most likely, as I was watching most of the networks while eating lunch and flipping around, they all had the expected agenda, and no where did I see mention of a family photo op.

The fact that he's not a U.S. citizen is no secret. The fact that he's never been convicted of any crime in the U.S. is true. The fact that he has never been indicted in the U.S. is public record. What are they concealing?
Interesting that Obama, Clinton, and Co. didn't feature a single hotel cleaner-up or golf course mower at their convention or in their BS ads, as least SFAIK.
