rush paints as bleak a picture as he can because he's still mad cruise lost. He just can't hide his true feelings. You have problems with comprehension.
Rush is simply stating REALITY. He's telling you, and everyone... what IS. After all, he is the "Mayor of Realville". He's describing they way many Republicans are acting.
He's NOT agreeing with them. In fact, he spent the rest of the show explaining why this thinking is WRONG.

rush is unhinged. Nobody with 2 connected brain cells blames him for Trump, he pushed cruise all day, everyday. He said robot rubio was not establishment! The guy who smiled and joked with chuckie over amnesty! rush is just wandering lost in the woods since cruise flamed out.
