This doesn't sound right. A lot of Republican-identifying likely voters are holding their noses and voting for Trump. That would not translate into enthusiasm.
Perhaps they are enthusiastically voting against Hellary!
The thought of denying her power makes me positively giddy.
Particularly when you consider how long she has schemed and plotted to get it.
Two parallel actions occur when you vote you give someone power and you deny it to someone else. Denying someone that power is often more important then granting it to someone.
It would be nice if those parallel voting actions were equivalent, but that seems to be rare in the modern age.
Aside from Romney, McCain, Kasich, the Bush family, Paul Ryan, and Ted Cruz's fan girls ("SQUEEEEE! It's Big Daddy Cruz!"). 97% sounds about right.
