Turnaround, or just 'better than expected?'
I’ll have more on “the tape” later today. Until then, suffice it to say that - like pollster Frank Luntz - I spent the weekend assuming it was all over for Donald Trump. After all, he’s a candidate who was just barely holding on to his place in the polls as it was. His remarks, however much his supporters might not care about them, delivered a severe blow precisely to his weakest spot.
According to Luntz and his focus group, last night’s debate went a long way toward undoing that damage.
As he put it:
Trump was never “out”.
This locker room tape is NOTHING in perspective to Bill and Hillary’s crimes.
Trump was never out of the race. Only the political establishment thought he was, not the people.
The media truly is in bizarre world. The voters are going to settle this one and it will be Trump.
Trump gained 70% of the focus group of undecided, Hillary got 10%, 10% still are idiots.
Trump will peak on election day, and win.
Trump will release it to rap music, make a billion more and make the press look ridiculous in the process again.

The false presumption is that the leak of the tape damaged Trump. I think it damaged team Clinton because it showed that they have nothing of substance and have their heads in the gutter.

When was he out? And if that tape is the best the democrats have for their october surprise they are doomed. Obama will have to resort to shenanigans with the electoral college to install Hillary.

I suspect they are not done with the Oct Surprises, but I also know Trump suspects this because he is no RINO fool!

I’ve said all along that Trump needs to talk more about “freedom” as a buzzword. I don’t think he uses the word that much.
The msm has some dumb people working there. They are wrong most of the time. It seems like they are all afraid they are going to lose their cushy jobs if Trump wins. That means people get their news from Limbaugh, Savage or Hannity even Drudge and not them.
