Clinton’s recipe is very much like a standard one you’d find from, say, Quaker Oats. Melania’s involves a lot more work and is somewhat unusual - makes me wonder how they would taste.

Melania’s is a half-version of my Mom’s basic Christmas cookie recipe...only Mom decorated hers with Red Hots candy.
They’re very good, like shortbread.
If I see one more hecking, cloying chocolate chip cookie, I’ll scream.
I prefer Melania’s.
Looks sort of like a shortbread type cookie, which I do like.
