He’ll deal with a leppo when he gets a round tuit.
Let's ask Ben Ghazi.
Aleppo was a key city in both the 1st and 2nd Crusades. I expect many Christians have some knowledge about it.
Hillary seems to poll 1-2% worse with Johnson in the mix. Could the word be out to take him down?
2% Diehard Libertarians who will be with him no matter what.
4% NeverTrumper's voting for him to fly the bird at Trump.
4% Bernie supporters voting for him to fly the bird at Hillary.
Hence nobody really "cares" who Johnson is or what he says...
Wasn't he Dr Richard Kimball on TV?
You have to be kidding. Most Christians do not study war maps of the crusades. You can be a fine dedicated Christian and know ZERO about the crusades.
Maybe you should sit and listen for a few years before you start chiming in with thoughts like that.
The problem is Libertarian party is no longer “Libertarian”
Just like the Democratic party is no longer “Democratic”
And the Republican party is no longer “Republican”
Parties usually start with their name somehow reflecting their ideals but soon evolve away ...the name just becomes a name and rarely reflects there ideals
That’s been profoundly true of the Libertarians the last 20 years Gary Johnson is one of the most big government statest there is if you actually look at what he proposes
Putting American interests first over those of foreigners is a quintessentially conservative position. Does Johnson believe that? I don’t know. Or care.
>>The libertarian moment was 1995.
Yep. The cultural assumptions, political environment, and social trends are in sharp contrast to those needed for a “libertarian moment”.
Hey Gar! Put down the bong for a sec and pick up a newspaper! Just sayin!
—reminds me of an individual who wondered of me —”Who is this Al Kida they keep talking about?—
“Prior to yesterday. I would bet dollars to donuts that 95% of Americans couldnt have told you what Aleppo is.”
Exactly.
This was the liberal plagiarist fraud Mike Barnacle asking the question.
Aleppo sounds like an Italian puppet maker and is jargon in this context.
I’ve learned over the years that frauds, con-men, charlatans and incompetents use jargon to make themselves look smarter and others less so.
It’s a scam tactic.
Hugh Hewitt did the same thing on Trump asking about the nuclear triad.
They did it to Sarah Palin with the Bush Doctrine.
I’m not for Johnson at all, but this is bogus.
A leopard? Why are you asking me about a leopard?
Wasn't he Dr Richard Kimball on TV?
No, that was David Janssen. Ben Ghazi was on "Run For Your Life."
I would bet 99% of the MSNBC viewers did not know what Aleppo is. I did not get it until he explained. And I am a news hound. That is how they do it. The question was totally out of context. So he could not expect it. This was a hit job. You take the most grandfatherly looking guy, and you give him the zinger. And then he says “your kidding me”. Thats when you know its a hit job. He had that line ready. He didn’t say, “the city in Syria” as he would say to Hillary. Trump should expect the same crap. They will ask Trump the name of the Afghan president or something. Then they will be aghast when he doesn’t know what he is referring to.
Pollsters say Johnson takes votes from Hillary more than TRUMP!
My ears says Johnson is running ads on Hannity’s radio show. I haven’t seen any Johnson ads on CNN. Why do you thin that is?
Precisely. They're also pro massive drug legalization (beyond marijuana) and pro open borders.
No way in hell any right thinking American would vote Libertarian with stances like these.
You hit on exactly why I was fighting back against this line of attack a little.
Although I could care less about Johnson, I was condeming the technique of the questioner inserting in these “gotcha” questions, knowing they would be likely to do the same to Trump.
