Al Sharpton wasn’t all that impressed by Donald Trump‘s black outreach efforts with a visit to a Detroit church today. He said on MSNBC this afternoon that Trump “blew an opportunity” to lay out a clear vision of his agenda for the black community in an ideal forum for that.
And with Trump talking about communities learning from each other, Sharpton said, “Harlem is on the same island as Trump Tower. What have you gone up there and learned?”

It's interesting that the good "Reverend" doesn't see the irony in his own statement; he's assuming that he's intelligent.

Hey AL...IT’s real church led by Bishops and Pastors in a real building where the congregation contributes tithes and offerings which pay the salaries of the staff...not a shyster flim flam operation sucking the life out of the black community like you do. Consider that a prophetic word from a Pastor here with 44 years experience. And Do REPENT Al before you stand before your Maker!
I hope the blacks understand only they can help themselves. Trump is only going to provide the atmosphere where they will have the opportunity to help themselves.
Better economy, get rid of large amounts of illegals, leaving more jobs for blacks, if they want them, cut back drugs from Mexico, etc.

No matter what Trump said, or did, it would have been discounted by Al “Wholly-Owned-by-the-Democrat-Party” Sharpton; so I don’t know why anyone is even paying attention to his comments.

Exactly. Trump has done a lot of good as a private citizen but the democrat politicians have not used all the tax money and power they have to help black people. No school choice, no job opportunities, nothing.

I remember after the contract with America and the GOP win in 1994 Newt screwed the conservative Negros by meeting with Jesse Jackson. He should have bypass the race pimps and go direct to the people who support them only and giving the legitimacy. Hope that Donald don’t make that mistake.

Such a great strategy. It will peel off some blacks. What it will REALLY do is show a lot of whites that hell no, he’s not a raciss, it’s safe to vote for him. Just like that meeting with Mexico’s President showed he’s not against Mexico or Hispanics per se.
