There have been claims by Hillary Clinton opponents that she has at least one serious medical condition that could impact her ability to serve as President. Clinton says the claims are false.
I currently do not take sides on this issue. However, once the first debate airs, I will pick a side, based on what she does or does not do at the debate.
While I agree that Hillary is probably very ill, I was surprised to see Ted Strickland (running for Senator in Ohio) showing signs of Parkinson’s. The whole time he was talking, his head was shaking. What’s up with ill Dems this year??
So what are Mook & Co. going to to if just before the first debate she locks up back stage or falls on her face, feet drumming the floor?
Wheel her out strapped to an appliance dolly?
Bless us with wisdom, and welcome to FR.
Most households have DVR these days. Record both, switch between them, skip commercials. That's what I'll do.
That's easy to resolve in this day and age. A simple tiny receiver fitted in her ear as small as an hearing aid. Then someone will use an off stage transmitter to feed her answers and provide prompting as well as psychological support.
As long as they feed her "softball" questions a system like that could handle 80-90% of any problems.
Personally I'm praying she crashes and burns on national television.
This is what I was thinking. While i'm hoping she has a meltdown in the debate, I am not counting on that happening.
She does have a condition that would prevent her from being a competent president, it’s being a blood thirsty, money-craving, power thirsty lying Clinton.
This debate is the stupidest thing the democrats have arranged for this year.
If Hillary can’t handle a press conference—how on earth is she going to handle Donald Trump.
The democrats don’t understand what a dream land they have been living in.
But they will in the week or so before the debates.
The freak out will be enormous.
That freak out will put enormous pressure on Hillary.
The entire alt-reality narrative of the democrats will come down to how she handles the Donald.
She knows the Donald will have no mercy on her.
Think she can handle that kind of pressure?
They're gonna have her strapped to a hand truck a la Hannibal Lecter:
They better not let her sit!
Forget her health, I’m hoping Trump points out in that first debate how she should be in JAIL and that he talks about how incredibly outrageous it is for someone to be not only above the law like this, but incredibly allowed to run for PRESIDENT!
They will tailor the show to fit her ability:
1. Tall podium
2. Long breaks
3. Breaks every 15 minutes.
4. Short debate.
5. No close-up shots allowed.
6. Mid-afternoon time.
etc.
Annnnnd Wikileaks have promised fireworks BEFORE the first debate...
Does anyone here actually believe she will show up at all for the first debate??
When she has her Medical Emergency to Cancel the Debate, Mr Trump should pull a George Putnam and put an EMPTY CHAIR on Stage and go on with the Debate.
ps This happened about 50 years ago during the Los Angeles DA race, the incumbent refused to show, George Put an Empty Chair on Stage with his name on it and ASKED THE CHAIR QUESTIONS. It was CLASSIC. And I don not believe it has ever been done again.
If her schedule doesn’t pick up to the normal election pace of 3 or 4 rallies a week after Labor Day we may not have to wait for the debates.
I have said for years that Republicans should have called Barack Obama a "Liar" to his face and showed him absolutely no respect.
I predicted the thin skinned ignorant fool would have had a meltdown.
I also think Hillary may very well have a meltdown.
Trump should hammer Hellary with alternating Mutt-and-Jeff questions about her health, policies, bribes, mistakes, etc.
Or wait for someone in the audience to flash a mini-strobelight to send her into vaporlock.
