The Clintons are in a helluva pickle. If they dare touch him, every last ounce of data he has on them comes spilling out from other sources immediately.
Or maybe it doesn’t. Maybe he’s got his ‘dead man switch’ rigged in such a way that the emails come out at the worst possible time anyway.
Either way, Assange has all the time he needs. It’s the Clintons who are running out of time.
