News for all from a West Texas gal (don’t know about the East), most Mexicans/Hispanics won’t vote because they don’t give a $hit about our elections (the illegals) and those that will....are for Trump.

In my industry, there are plenty of Mexicans, I have heard this first hand.

When I drove the cab overnight, I took PLENTY of mexicans around (there’s a large population on Staten Island) and they didn’t hate/love the country.

They didn’t give it any thought. They were here to make a buck or escape from gangs, mostly.

I agree with you about turn out, they simply don't vote for the most part. I believe, (and hope I am wrong) that in El Paso that Hillary will take an even larger percentage than the usual overwhelming Democrat win.
I can't see Texas going for Hillary but I believe it will be closer than the historic Republican margin largely because Mr. Trump paints with such broad strokes and then refuses to clarify comments because he believes it will be viewed as weakness.
He may do fine with Hispanics away from the border, but my prediction is about 80/20 with half or more of that 80 being straight party votes for the Democrat Party in El Paso County. Regardless it shouldn't have much of an affect state, I am concerned about Congressmen Hurd the district he represents includes a small part of El Paso County and flips Democrat or Republican every 2 or 4 years and I think he may lose a few votes over Mr. Trump's phraseology.
