If the Trump Party takes over the Republican Party and forces the Crony Capitalist and Dominionist factions to go elsewhere (e.g., take over the Constitution Party), then it is essential that the new Trump/Republican Party permanently grab enough sensible people from the Democrat party to 1) make up for the loss and 2) reduce the size of the Democrat Party.

I missed your original post. I see the Crony Capitalists making the play for the Democrats, willing to pay off the entitlements, but wanting the trade deals, social liberalism, and useful tools to channel the commie types into chasing their own tail to diminish their power. In return, the Dems get ... MONEY! It is not an ideal arrangement for them, but while the old money Republicans were socially liberal but with a proper demeanor, the new Internet/Silicon Valley money is a natural fit for the Democrat attitude.

I'm not sure how you define Dominionist, but most will stay within the Republican Party, while the more extreme versions may go into the Third Party ranks, which they already do.

There will be regional differences post-Trump, which is more or less normal anyway.

Yep, this is already the case. E.g., over on the Slashdot forum, which is concerned mostly with technical Silicon Valley-type news, a poll was done of the participants and they turned out to be mostly Democrats. I've never bothered to sign up there because I have better things to do than participate in flame wars with The Left.

One more thing about Silicon Valley and a Trump presidency:

There are two aspects to Silicon Valley: 1) Big money and 2) the voting rank-and-file employees. Now throw on some gasoline called "H-1B". The pile blows up; and the big money (which is the main force for H-1B) goes to the Democrats, while the voting employees jump on the Trump train. The reason the voting employees haven't already gone Republican over the H-1B issue is because, before Trump came along, H-1B was promoted by both parties.
