Although my posting privileges have been restored, subject to pre-censorship, I do not intend to jeopardize future opportunities to bring people like you to truth. In other words, under the current set of rules I do not wish to risk being zotted merely to engage with you on this subject.
I responded this way to you now so that you know I am not being rudely ignoring or otherwise dismissing your private message to me. I can read messages but not send them.
Ted Cruz demonstrated, unequivocally, that he doesn't care if Hillary wins.
His actions, not his empty words, speak volumes.
Ted Cruz's political career, at least in the GOP, is over.
Donald Trump, knowing the content of Cruz's speech, was profoundly magnanimous in allowing him to speak at all. The entire nation saw who was the bigger man, and they also saw who cares more deeply about the future of this Republic.
Ted Cruz, at best, is indifferent to a Hillary Presidency, inasmuch as, in his deluded mind, he thinks that such an outcome would benefit him personally going into 2020.
He is sorely mistaken. I can't count the number of former Cruz supporters, who had given him the benefit of the doubt up until this evening, who have now expressed their profound disappointment in this hollow, petty, egotistical man. The content of Cruz's character has been exposed. His betrayal is written for all to see, printed in ink of the blackest dye.
As for Truth, you, sadly, have little of that to bring to anyone. Like Ted Cruz, you have been overthrown by your hysterical hatred for Donald Trump, and your abject inability to fathom what is happening in this nation at this moment in history.
This election isn't even remotely about Donald Trump: it is about the movement which he has earned both the right and the privilege to lead.
Ted Cruz and his selfish ilk stand repudiated, not only by Trump supporters, but by the vast majority of his own former voters.
To reiterate: Ted Cruz doesn't care if Hillary wins this election in November. If he did, his actions and words would have been otherwise.
In the eyes of the overwhelming majority of GOP voters (not to mention Independents who were watching), Ted Cruz's actions were shameful.
And That's the Truth that you need to be brought to.
You can't justify or rationalize Ted Cruz's callous and egotistical divisiveness. He blew it.
Donald Trump will win anyway, without the "help" of Ted Cruz. Cruz only hurt himself. Just review the mounting anecdotal record.
Vote Trump!
Ted Cruz: Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ted Cruz, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college.
The Donald: I...
Ted Cruz: So let's get down to cases: you are a delegate, and I am going to run for President in 2020.
[warningly]
Ted Cruz: Now, don't try to get away! I am more articulate, more cunning, faster, and more educated than you are -- I went to Harvard Law-- and I *am* a genius. Why you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten.
The Donald: (yawns)
Ted Cruz: So I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
The Donald: I'm sorry, Mac, the lady of the house gave a classier speech than you did. And besides, the donors decided to stop sending you checks last week.
[shuts the door then walks into the VIP suite as Ted Cruz folds up the door and leaves]
Ted Cruz: Why do they always want to do it the hard way?
or, more simply:
"Was it over when the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor?"
You must realize by now, that Cruz has soiled his own depends here. He'll be lucky to get a K-Street job, given all the reports of how other Senators can't stand him.
