The general, who spent 33 years in the intelligence field, told The Daily Caller News Foundation he was never called in for a face-to-face meeting with Obama to offer his assessment of ISIS as it rampaged through the Middle East, or during the political meltdown of Libya and Egypt, or on Iran’s efforts to build a nuclear bomb, or of the “Russian reset” that ended in shambles.
In four years, Flynn was never invited to brief the president on any kind of intelligence issue. Ever.

I think the Pentagon is fighting the good fight but is being undermined by the Obama State Dept and the CIA. The CIA has a long history of backing Islamists since the 80s. It seems after Osama was eliminated al-Qaeda and the CIA kissed and made up again and joined forces in Syria.

Yeah, but not for the reasons you think. After eight years of an Obama administration, we are on the brink of war with Russia, Iran and ISIS in the Middle East; we are on the verge of war with China over her expansion and lawlessness on the high seas. They are worried because as generals they have only known a manageable peacetime environment not boiling down to who can attrit their national enemies in war.
