I know a young black guy who has a license to carry. He has been pulled over by cops for speeding.
He holds his hands up, tells them he has a gun in the glove compartment and a license to carry, and they are welcome to get it out of the glove compartment if they wish or whatever they feel most comfortable with doing.
Cops have a right to be nervous. They are being targeted. Anyone with a gun needs to be careful how they act when approached by a cop these days.
Oh and let me just add that the black kid is well spoken, respectful, doesn’t talk jive ,and doesn’t look like a hoodlum....but he still believes he should be cautious. I agree with that assessment given the BLM crowd and their agitations.
On YouTube, Facebook, and elsewhere you can see countless examples of cops getting suddenly blasted by subjects who pull guns on them at point-blank range. The endless examples are enough to affect anyone trying to do the job, highten their perceived threat level.
