They need to add more episodes or bring it to an end. It is difficult to remember all of the sub-plots and kingdoms and characters with a 9-1/2 month lapse between seasons.

I believe there are only two seasons left, and they will both be shorter than 10 episodes, so it is being wrapped up.

That is what AMC did to wrap up Hell on Wheels.

They broadcast last year’s ‘Season 5’ with only 7 episodes and carried the remaining 5 episodes to 2016.
