I’m not gonna take credit for it, someone else here yesterday thought of it. But this is the same government that sold weapons to the Mexican cartels as a tactic. The plan was to intentionally lay the explosion in Mexican violence at the feet of American gun owners.

Is it really so unthinkable that they knew exactly who this guy was, and felt it was worth it just look the other way and let his rifle purchase go right through?
