Our hearts are aching as our dearest and sweetest four legged friend pasted away last night. Hope would have been 15 next month. She was grouchy in her old age, but there was a time the kids in the neighborhood thought of her like she was one of them and we actually had kids ring the door bell to see if Hope could come out to play. She is gone now, but her paw prints will remain tracked across our hears forever.
My condolences; lost my Big Jack last December 30th.
Know exactly how you feel.
The hurt will start to lessen (it will never go away completely) but the love will last forever.
At least you know that we all get to meet our boys and girls that have gone before us in the tall grass, fields, and woodlands.
We get to hunt quail, pheasant, and chukar partridge again before we cross over the Rainbow Bridge together.
If there ain’t no DOGS in Heaven, I ain’t goin.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I’ve lost two cats, so I know what it’s like to loose an animal.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Kartographer.
What a lovely girl! I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is.
