LOL, I was using “you” in the sense that if one says that, they are attacked in the fashion I described for doing so.
Being a woman does not rob her of her rationality (as the logical refutation of women in combat in the linked article in included in my previous post by Jude Eden clearly demonstrates) but it is also clear that there are many people of both sexes who have sacrificed rationality at the altar of diversity.

And when you lose a war part of the surrender conditions may be changes in the government that the leftists will not like. But they can't reason that far ahead.
Yes. There are many advocates out there who think that people against the concept of women in combat think it is a global anti-female sentiment that means those same people have no respect for the capabilities of women in any area other than physical prowess or strength.
It couldn’t be further from the truth.
Just speaking for myself, but I know there are plenty of men who fee the same way, I have worked my entire post-military career in an industry that has a much higher percentage of women than men, and I have had women supervising me and making decisions that I respect, trust implicitly, and will work to my utmost to give them what they need to be successful.
But combat is NOT business. Combat is COMBAT, and there is no parallel. Making a gutsy decision in a corporate environment is not the same as having someone leap on you in your fighting hole with a spade, trying to cave in your skull.
Or carrying one of your shipmates out of a burning compartment on a sinking ship.
But liberals don’t think combat involves a spade being used as a deadly weapon, or a ship with gaping holes in it slowly sinking as the crew tries to save it.
Liberals think combat involves air conditioned rooms where people can look at monitors on a wall, make sterile decisions, and push buttons to kill people. And they think women can do that as well as a man can.
That may be true. But if that 110 lb woman has to carry a 220 lb guy in a fireman carry up a ladder, that is a different kind of reality.
There is truth in that, that liberals refuse to see the truth.
I think it is worse than that. I think they really believe their own crap, a self-hypnosis of some kind. When people say that liberalism is a mental disorder, it is this kind of thing they have in mind.
This issue isn’t about the tenacity of women. It’s about emasculating the West.

There will also come to fore the almost irrepressible instinct of those same said young men to protect a woman in a potentially dangerous situation, their ancient impulses telling them that to do so will make a female more attracted to them. And for their part a young woman, driven by the same unconscious impulses might find herself attracted to such a male, to the consternation, and as your pointed out, the jealousies of their peers, male and female. All of it mixing together in the incredible, relentless, nearly irresistible, emotionally complex and near ceaseless rutting, preening and mating of our species. What a combination. Young men and women, virile, testosterone and estrogen fueled, high tech automatic weaponry , violent killing and violent death. In a way it almost seems that sex is war without weapons.
I’ll be honest...I think it is too late. (In something like this, I hate myself for being defeatist, but...I don’t see how these things get walked back)
There is too much water over the dam. The purging of the warrior psyche from the military ranks has been going on since the early 90’s, in my opinion.
And the physical purging has been taking place unabated as well. The ranks of decision makers are filled with people who don’t see why women in combat is problematic. And those who don’t believe it implicitly, have careers at risk for not wholeheartedly embracing the liberal orthodoxy of the fallacious idea that women can do anything men can.
They can’t.
And while it is true that men can’t do everything a woman can do, being able to carry a baby to full term isn’t going to help when someone is trying to stick a bayonet in your abdomen. Having testosterone in your body and an extra 30 lbs of muscle will.
I don’t know much about SecyNav Mabus re his background (I think he was mainly a desk jockey), but he is a coward, PC-corrupt, stupid, dangerous to our Armed Forces, and perhaps a little Cupcake or Pansy, or both.
I cry to think that this POS is destroying our Navy when I’ve met great men like CINCOMPAC Adm John McCain Jr, had lunch with Adm. Arleigh Burke, Dan Gallery, perhaps Adm. Radford, interviewed for radio shows Gen. Lyman Lemnitzer and Maxwell Taylor, and was friends with Adm. Jeremiah Denton (former US Senator and POW).
Mabus is a disgrace and if Trump is elected president, the first thing he should do is fire this ahole, and put him in front of a firing squad made up of Iraq and Afghan veterans.
Obama promised that he would destroy America as we know it, and Mabus is one of his henchmen. Both are traitors and after Nov. 4th, should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

This is insane. In my lifetime, it is unbelievable to me that we even have to have this discussion.
Not to mention that that same 220 lb. man playing for the other team ever comes across the 110 lb woman playing for our side would literally tear the 110 lb. female to pieces. But not before he rapes the living bejeezus out of her. This would be warfare in The Stone Age.
Mabus is typical of the set of people in place who have set the table. For officers and enlisted, people like Mabus have created the reality that it won’t be good enough for soldiers and sailors to keep their mouth shut if they feel differently about these things.
They will have to positively voice their enthusiastic support for this, or they will have no career. It is as simple as that. If they want a career in the military, they will have to lie to themselves, or delude themselves to accept the lies of others as truth.
There is no middle ground anymore.
I’m wearing out Rosary beads praying Trump gets in. If he doesn’t we are well and truly screwed. The only possible recourse is too dreadful to think about. But, like the fire ax in the glass case that say’s “For Emergency’’ we have a recourse. You know what that is. Pray God we never have to use it.
I agree about the purging of the warrior psyche. Heck, kids aren’t allowed to even play dodge ball anymore. Dodge ball is a form of combat training and combat. Seriously.
I work in an office with a bunch of women. High School Drama almost every day. Gossip and cattiness galore. Heavy lifting done by me and a few other guys.
In 1990-1993, the Armor unit I was in was all guys. we got the job done in austere circumstances.
