Yes. There are many advocates out there who think that people against the concept of women in combat think it is a global anti-female sentiment that means those same people have no respect for the capabilities of women in any area other than physical prowess or strength.
It couldn’t be further from the truth.
Just speaking for myself, but I know there are plenty of men who fee the same way, I have worked my entire post-military career in an industry that has a much higher percentage of women than men, and I have had women supervising me and making decisions that I respect, trust implicitly, and will work to my utmost to give them what they need to be successful.
But combat is NOT business. Combat is COMBAT, and there is no parallel. Making a gutsy decision in a corporate environment is not the same as having someone leap on you in your fighting hole with a spade, trying to cave in your skull.
Or carrying one of your shipmates out of a burning compartment on a sinking ship.
But liberals don’t think combat involves a spade being used as a deadly weapon, or a ship with gaping holes in it slowly sinking as the crew tries to save it.
Liberals think combat involves air conditioned rooms where people can look at monitors on a wall, make sterile decisions, and push buttons to kill people. And they think women can do that as well as a man can.
That may be true. But if that 110 lb woman has to carry a 220 lb guy in a fireman carry up a ladder, that is a different kind of reality.
Not to mention that that same 220 lb. man playing for the other team ever comes across the 110 lb woman playing for our side would literally tear the 110 lb. female to pieces. But not before he rapes the living bejeezus out of her. This would be warfare in The Stone Age.
