I have Ghostery and adblockPlus. Is that why I never have problems with peeking at pictures of cute young chicks?

Most likely. Check out uBlock Origin. Seems to beat the pants off of addblock plus which I used to run as well.

Most (99% +) of the web I have to explicitly say ok, show me that damned add.
