He appeared in the two-part Libertarian presidential debate a few weeks ago hosted by John Stossel, along with John McAfee and Gary Johnson. In comparison to "pragmatic libertarian" Gary Johnson, I would describe Austin Peterson as a "doctrinaire, anarchist libertarian". The Libertarian commentators who appeared with Stossell described Peterson as "talking in bumper stickers." (McAfee was described as "strange;" an assessment I agreed with.)
I was listening to Hugh Hewitt this morning and he was pimping this idea that Gary Johnson and Former Governor of Mass Ward could pull 15 % of the voters in this country....for the libertarian party...
I about ran off the road laughing so hard..
Hewitt used to be reasonable, but he has gotten real flaky as of late...
