Duncan Hunter is a decent choice. Iraq vet and in his 3rd term in congress. Helps with the ins and outs in DC, and backs up his support of vets by having one of their own on the ticket. Maybe not everyone’s 1st choice, but OK.

Duncan Hunter Jr. Has some very good credentials. Business major, ran his own company, enlisted in Marines right after 911, multiple tours, last honorable discharge as Major. Congressman (R) California since 2009.
