If only we would recognize Islam as more than a religion.
I heard one of trump folks on TV yesterday equating the strategy we need to use to defeat ISIS as being the same as what we needed to do to defeat Nazism or Communism. Maybe a light bulb has finally gone on in the leadership of this country.
I’m hoping that we demand nations actively get rid of terrorists within their borders. If the nation (ex. Saudi Arabia) will not purify itself, then we should hurt that nation as much as possible. We stop the pain when they get their stuff together and remove terrorism from their land.
It’s hard for a country like the USA to fight terrorists hiding in a foreign country. It’s easier for us to fight the government of the foreign country. And when I say “fight” I mean economic and political efforts, not “boots on the ground”. Local governments can more successfully fight local terrorists — they just need us to give them the incentive.
