At the Bildeberg meeting in 1991 David Rockefeller walked up to Bill Clinton and asked him what he thought about NAFTA.
Clinton replied, “If it’s important to you, Mr Rockefeller, it’s important to me.”
Rockefeller replied, “Thank you, Mr President.”
Perot was a prophet.
He not only pegged the effects of NAFTA but he nailed the reasons for those effects as well.

Ross was right.
Ross Perot joined ‘em after he couldn’t beat ‘em. He and his son have made many billions off of NAFTA by getting very big in the shipping business.
And I was a big Perot supporter.
No said the man was stupid.
I can’t blame him. He and his son bought some land near Arlington, I think, and built massive warehouses and all kinds of trains and things to move freight around. Ross Jr. is one smart cookie.
It only tooks 30 years and extended recession!
How did Rockefeller get to Reagan? NAFTA was Reagan’s idea.
Not only did Perot recognize the dangers of NAFTA but so did Buchanan and Ralph Nader. Both the populist right and elements of the progressive left agree that NAFTA/WTO/TPP hurt Americans and that loose coalition wil help Trump enormously against Hillary.
Everything Ross Perot said about NAFTA hurting destroying American jobs came true. Our leaders sold us out. And the Leftist still believe that Slick Wilie is the greatest president ever.
