The Vatican neither owns, nor built, nor named, nor nicknamed the telescopic instrument you reference. It belongs to the Max Planck Institute, was once nicknamed LUCIFER (from its acronym) but is now nicknamed LUCI.
This renders it less interesting to the overheated. They should take a minute and enjoy a tall glass of chill.
