The diff between Trump and Cruz rallies-Cruz sups sit in the back pew coloring, and Trump supporters do this: @Nero pic.twitter.com/RXZQaY1LGJ— Michael (@ThatGuyFromTenn) April 29, 2016
Cruz was around 12% in that county
That is incredible..Kasich won NYC. Trying to get my mind around that.
But then they do have a communist mayor.
Trump actually won among the Republicans in the heavily minority areas of the island. He lost to Kasich, however, among Manhattan’s wealthy, highly educated, left-leaning whites. Overall, though, it was only by 3%. I’m not sure if Cruz even broke into the double digits there. Perhaps if Trump had had a rally in Manhattan, he might have won it.
Thanks for the info. 3% isn’t much.
My Oregon ballot arrived yesterday and I am excited to vote for Trump!
Trumpkins need to wake up.
George Bush got more votes than Trump in the NY Republican primary in 2000.
Sanders drew large 10+ k crowds in NY and got thrashed by Hillary to the tune of 15% points. Go figure. The conman and salesman is crashing to Hilary in the general elections by double digits and has sky high negatives among women. Trump is a large blimp waiting to explode and burn to the ground.
Did Trump also lose Queens, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn) and Richmond (Staten Island) Counties, or just NY (Manhattan) County?
You wake up. Your boy Cruz is a loser and people find him abhorrent. We are going to Make America Great Again and you will be the fool standing by with your wilted ole Ted sign while we are at work.
I pity you.
Trump won all the boroughs/counties except for Manhattan. He even won Staten Island by a stunning 82%. Staten Island could well be the single place in the whole country where Trump is most popular. Overall, Trump easily took the city of New York as a whole.
NY was a highly publicized Super Tuesday state in 2000. It was also considered a real contest between Bush and McCain there, which would have motivated more people to come out. These are hardly the same circumstances. Beyond that, I would be surprised if there weren’t more registered Republicans in the state back then. Part of the problem with the Cruzers on this site is the tendency to compare apples and oranges in order to draw false conclusions.
Ashamed Cruz got ANY Tx votes
IS Tx ‘his own? Why the sealed records??
So Trump is a seasoned charismatic entertainer while Cruz is just a boring protector of the Constitution. Mathematics and Philosophers are boring as well but they are the heart of civilization A tortoise and hare fable comes to mind here.
Who is more popular than Trump in the GOP if Trump steps down if Bush 2000 vote getting is your criteria?
Cruz is a lifetime govt lawyer employee. Trump has worked in the high stakes private sector for 40+ years. Cruz has no private world accomplishments I can think of - I assume he is a good lawyer but all he has done is govt work so I guess Cruz is good enough for govt work.
Trump lost Manhattan? - Yes to Kasich. All the Establishment Republicans live in Manhattan. Trump won the rest of New York City and state in North Korean levels.

you have to wonder why the media never does the wide angle shots.
Nice!
Yes and conversely Trump, at some rallies last month, had to force/challenge the media to pan around his speaking venues to illustrate the vast crowds.
You and your loser candidate, the reptilian charlatan Cruz, need to skedaddle.
