There were several events yesterday that suggest to me the winds have shifted in Ted Cruz’s favor since he named Carly Fiorina his running mate.
First, John Boehner had a complete and utter meltdown about Ted Cruz yesterday. He referred to Cruz as both an S.O.B. and Lucifer. Then Peter King, the noxious congressman from New York, came out and declared Cruz worse than the devil. He was followed up by former senator Judd Gregg who declared he would rather Trump than Cruz, even though he is a Kasich guy.
The fact that . In fact, more polling out of Indiana suggests just that. Cruz had been behind and the latest polling has the race tied.

American Conservatism is a state of mind. Ted Cruz is as American as you and I in that respect. As Conservative as I am but maybe not so much you...Donald Trump is no Conservative and you can take that to the bank.

BS Conservatives believe in the 'original intent' of the Constitution. The 'original intent' NEVER allowed for a right to kill the unborn, or to call same sex hook-ups a marriage. AND 'original intent' to hold the office of president was 'natural born' of which only TWO US citizen parents could bestow upon their child, being birthed upon US soil. Cruz's initial claim to fame was following the 'original intent' of the Constitution... He even took an oath to protect and defend that same US Constitution.
Cruz is simply not capable to measure 'conservatism', he can only talk about it. Trump has live ( filled with faults) a 'conservative' life... Trump freely exposes his life warts and all. Cruz has spent his life deceiving himself and a large number of so called conservative that he is a conservative. How many Ted Cruz's senate salaries has Trump funded during his life... Cruz does not even show up for work at his senate job, but he sure still collects that pay check.
A 'conservative' Cruz would have resigned his Senate seat and NOT taken a welfare check on his presidential scheme.
