A good catch by Mediaite from Cruz’s interview this morning with Chris Stigall, and de facto confirmation of what I wrote earlier about the frustration he seems to be feeling with Hannity (and Fox News writ large). To be clear, it’s Stigall who brings up O’Reilly and Hannity. Cruz doesn’t name them as hosts who are “in the tank for Trump” but he’s complained before about O’Reilly’s habit of defending Trump and his spokesman’s complained about Hannity pushing Trump’s talking points. And Cruz’s silence in not challenging Stigall about O’Reilly and Hannity is deafening. He pointedly omits them from his list of hosts who aren’t in the tank — Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and, er, Rush, whom Cruz is careful to compliment. Did you know, Cruz boasts, that Rush has said that if you’re a conservative voter, I’m the obvious choice for president? And it’s true, Rush has said that.
Cruz can not win. He should drop out.

Hannity let Cruz dump slime buckets on “Mob boss” Trump just last week. Now Cruz throws him under the bus? Breathtaking arrogance here from Cruz.

I’ve heard it mentioned that Cruz has actually had more air time than Trump which would be surprising, but would still be irrelevant to the way he treats the two.
This election has cast much needed, revealing sunlight on the conservative cause and not just the politicians, but many of the media in television and radio. It is illuminating how many are not truly conservative, but rather GOP cheerleaders.
Nonsense. Hannity has been giving Cruz open mics to dump whatever talking point slime on Trump he wants. I find it beyond ironic that Cruz always whines about Trump not debating him when Cruz is not interested in substantively discussing the issues with Hannity.

Cruz defeated the so called globalist in the Supreme Court case against Jose Medellin.
The case pitted international law against the state right to execute an illegal immigrant.
Ted Cruz won.
On the other hand, Trump uses H-1B visas to hire foreign workers for his businesses that “Americans won’t do”
He bragged about this in a primary debate and all the supposed worriers about “globalism” shrugged it off and make no comment about it.
Trump is absolutely a globalist and actively uses foreign labor to displace American labor.

Nor am I giving up on conservatism. However, I find it curious that Senator Cruz continues to peddle his vile and vitriol against a man that has captured the hearts and minds of so many of us conservatives, a capture that he, Cruz, has been unable to accomplish.
I look back on his hours of filibustering on the Senate floor as a way to capture us conservatives, which, really was his effort to position himself for a run at the WH. Cynical yes, productive nyet. That effort was a waste. My donations were a waste and any further effort to resurrect his campaign on your part is just the same. A waste.

Please. Please. Hannity hasn’t had an original thought in all his years on the radio or TV and I have listened to him and turned him off more times than I can remember in the past 20 years. His repetitive schtick is 4th grade stuff. The hair, it must be the hair that keeps him on the tube, it’s certainly not the intellect.
I’ve only listened off and on to conservative “talkers”, mostly local ones. Out of the group I’ve sampled, I find Hannity to be the least clever but probably the most fair in his dealings with the current election.
I’d wager that the screws get turned on one and all when the money folks want an agenda pushed, so I’m not sure any of them are free from influence.
I still can’t believe this doofus BushBot Cruz is still a candidate this late in the contest.

I can see why cruz has no friends in Washington;he dumps on others because he has such a high opinion of himself.
Hannity just asked Cruz if he was considering listening to those who want him to step down since he's no longer able to actually win it. Cruz kept obfuscating (making great speeches) and he's pissed that someone would have the gall to point out the obvious - he should seriously consider getting out of the race and trying to help unify our side of the aisle for the General Election.
Why should conservatives support an anti conservative candidate?
