How about when the interviewer heard her say “I always carry hot sauce in my purse” he should have asked her to show it to him.

Now when someone will challenge her on it she’ll have to say “I’ll have someone get my purse...” and the poor SOB that has to carry a bottle of hot sauce around 24/7 will have to “bring the purse with the hot sauce.”

The really interesting thing here isn't her taste in spices or the contents of her purse. What is interesting is that so much is being made of the alleged veracity of her statement. We - even her supporters including the media - are so used to lies coming from her that a big deal is made when she (maybe) makes a factual statement. Maybe.

Actually, I'm about 98% sure this is yet another example of lies and pandering from Clinton. I base that on two elements of experience. One, virtually everything else she says is a lie. As noted above, it would be truly noteworthy if she were telling the truth. But odds are, she's lying. Two, I know several people who like hot sauce, I mean really, really like it. As much as they love it, not one of them carries a bottle with them on their person, or even in their vehicle. Sure, they have plenty at home, and I've seen them specifically bring some to a dinner. But day-in day-out, no-one I know "carries." ;-)
