I think this video clip sums up a lot of what people like about the Donald. After reading the thousandth claim that Donald didn't understand the Colorado rules by people who couldn't see the bigger picture of Trump exposing the very rules-lock the GOPe uses to STAY the GOPe, I remembered this scene from this movie.
Trump is played by Paul Newman. The GOPe is played by the big guy with the knife.

How about if you don’t like anything about Trump?
>Note how the collusion of Clinton and Bush with the Saudis before, during, and after 9/11 is now on the pages of the New York NEWSPAPERS.
Great points.
There already is such a book. Several, as a matter of fact; by John Polkinghorne. Right now I’m reading, “Quantum Physics and Theology”. The sub-title is, “An Unexpected Kinship”.
Of course there’s a kinship. YHWH created them both, along with everything else that exists.
If your book would appeal more to a layman, which includes me; that would be a plus. The one I’m reading is a hard slog, because it was written by an Anglican Priest who is also a Theoretical Physicist, and written FOR Theologians and Physicists.
Thanks! I’ll look it up. Maybe I’m off the hook and Freeping is all i have to do. ;-)
Alex Jones is banned on FR mostly because he has discussed the very collusion that is now on the front pages of the New York papers.
Not to ruffle feathers, but this is a somewhat narrow subject, so it wouldn't be remiss for me to point out that AFAIK the first book of this genre, if you include other faiths, would be The Tao of Physics, by Fritjof Capra. Perhaps physics will end up being theologically unifying to some degree across multiple faiths.
It’s one honking gigantic sword.
Donald is the global elite....!
Trump will never forget 7/11, hand that man a Big Gulp.
OK, I read the story in the Mail - and if it happened the way they wrote it, I’d be astonished.
The idea that, in 1989, a rock and roll band doing an appearance for big $$ would have a problem with a then not very well known businessman, who was slicing their bread for them, and considering all the scum they hung out with regularly - sorry, it’s absurd.
Cruz is 100% funded by the Global-elite and his wife is directly employed by the global elites and she sat on the board of the CFR guiding globalist policies.
Yeah I have checked the polls his negatives are off the charts. He is positioning himself to get slaughtered in the fall.
Who “kicked” him??? It sure wasn’t the voting public...
Oh, wait....They didn’t get to vote......Did they.....
But a deeper issue is how this episode and Trump's crying foul whenever he doesn't get his way causes some of us to worry about the idea of him as a nominee or effective president. A political party is not a democracy. It's a faction of political operatives. That was as true in Washington's time as it is now, hence his ignored and forgotten warning about them. Ideally a political party functions like a republic, with the operatives more or less following the directions and impulses of their "constituents". When they don't they pay a price, but they're under no real obligation to do so. You and I aren't the "Party", they are.
Primary elections are just one part of the "game", the rules for which vary from State to State. And it's a rough and dirty game Donald Trump has decided as a rank novice to join.
Losing and then bitching because he doesn't understand the arcane rules governing a State party's nominating convention, or wasn't clever and humble enough to hire people who do and let them do their jobs, aren't the actions of a supposed brilliant "deal maker". They're the actions of a spoiled and petulant child who simple mindedly thinks the Republican Party is a democracy or somehow thought his opponents were ever going to "play fair".
Politics is one of the dirtiest games going. And if he thinks Ted Cruz plays dirty wait until he gets a load of what the Democrats can do. Instead of bitching about being outmaneuvered I'd be more impressed and less worried if he acted like a grown up and fought back. Polls and Twitter insults aren't going to work against the Democrat media and dirty tricks machine.
I won’t be voting. Hillary has it anyway!
My point that there is no such thing as America is proven then. Because the only candidate who speaks as if there is such a place is Trump. The others don’t even make an attempt!! Hillary has the presidency of the US in 2016, just face it. It isn’t even worth fighting, especially since “our” party has proven it isn’t “ours” but also belongs to the global elite. Just face it. This country is over!!
...and Trump funded the global elite so that he could get favors in return.
Funds the global elite? What are you talking about. That makes no sense, Trump has businesses and does business all around the world, he does not fund any elites. Which elite is he funding?
And Cruz’s lack of his support back in his home state by the ones that know him best is rather telling.
“A Smart Politics analysis finds that Ted Cruzs 43.7 percent showing in Texas marks the lowest support ever recorded by a Republican presidential candidate in a home state victory out of more than five-dozen campaigns to win their home state since 1912.”
Donald Trump will not perform poorly in his home state where he has never held political office. He will do very well, and rightfully so.
The only part of the story I don’t believe is that Trump didn’t squeal like a little girl.
So why don’t Trump sue them over the story?
