Pope Benedict didn't die, he wasn't even sick. He was forced out in a power play by the "social justice warrior" aka "liberation theology" priests who have risen to the rank of cardinal since their radical younger years.

This is a non-issue. Sanders takes 50 people along for a very short trip to Rome. He has plenty of campaign money, transparent, from small donors, so nobody is buying him with a ride in a plane.
It would've been a massive inconvenience for other travelers at airports and make campaign scheduling impossible if he didn't use a private jet.
Give Sanders credit where credit is due. His going to Rome and even having a short meeting with the Pope vs hillary at deep-pocket donor dinners. Stunning.

Opulent? Of course! This is because Bern has contained within his person the vast Moral center of the universe. Every day Bern calls for ALL the money in America and ALL the guns in America to be put entirely in HIS control. Shouldn’t a guy THAT big be traveling in style?

You cannot say Bernie Sanders abuses public monies. Or that he’s in anything for the money. That’s not his thing.
