I’m not saying it will happen. Just that is the only face saving winning
option for Cruz.
If he is the nominee he is finished because he will lose the general.
If he is not the VP he will be finished, as well.
He will return to the senate a much deminished and more hated man.
Gosh, I hope so. It's probably his best option, though. If he works WITH President Trump to accomplish things like getting rid of Common Core, Obama Care, TPP etc he could redeem himself. Another factor is his unsavory resume and family connections. He'd have to get out of the Bushes, dump Glenn Beck, and Heidi would have to resign from Goldman Sachs.
Mygosh, as I type this I realize how far gone Cruz is. It would be quite a redemption story.
