Satire doesn’t work as well as it used to. There is just too much going on that just can’t be made up! As soon as they take something to an extreme in satire, real life tops it.

I don’t know if this is fully relevant to this issue, but I just watched the “M*A*S*H” episode of Frank and Hot Lips trying to court martial Henry Blake for allegedly giving aid and comfort to the enemy (basically proven false) and Hawkeye blackmailing Burns into dropping the charges by threatening to tell Burns’ wife about Frank’s infidelity with Margaret.
The more I read about this and other remarks from Springsteen or Michael Moore or Sharon Stone about North or South Carolina or Mississippi, it really makes me think of how laughable their remarks and hypocrisy really are, like that of Frank Burns on “M*A*S*H”.

LOL!
Springsteen is a nut. He had good music when the land was safe. Not so much anymore.
I hope his legacy is faggot from hell that played a harmonica.
Not worth seeing after Clarence Clemons passed on.

Boycott over choice of word.
Note to speech police: you need to publish an official list of bad words, and when they became bad.

... but I will not play another concert in South Carolina as long as she's governor if she doesn't start using the proper term 'Native American.'...it boggles the mind to think about what sort of hash he'd make out of the Elizabeth 'Pocahontas' Warren masquerade......

FWIW, I attended a Sproingsteen concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills back around 2005 and had the misfortune of being in a suite, directly in line of the mega ceiling speakers.........
Discounting the loudness, it was the worst concert I had ever attended........It wasn't Springsteen, it was Sproingsteen shouting into the microphone the whole night..........
I don't know how or where this bonafide "has been" gets his audiences but in my humble opinion, it's a gross waste of money..........
