How is Cruz ever going to get new supporters to replace the ones he's lost? He'll no longer be regarded as a maverick or principled Constitutional Conservative.
This is the American way. Believe in fair play, respect those who practice it. But when someone doesn't play fair? Destroy them by all means possible.
