I read an interesting account by someone on Facebook (on Larry Lindsey’s account as a reply to him).
It outlined her first-time as a delegate. It is pretty long, but she had started going to the GOP monthly meetings and had been three times.
Excerpts:
“I took notes on each person that presented and learned a few things about the county during the meeting. After the meeting I was approached by Lora Thomas and was asked are you attending the caucus? I was like what caucus? Where? When? Both Lora and Tanne frivolous searched where I was to go on March 1st and my journey begun!
March 1st I attended the precinct caucus! There were only 13 of us that attended and no precinct committee members from the past at the meeting. Myself and David Rabb took the initiative to take over the meeting and begun the caucus by the book....
March 19th was the Douglas County Assembly in Highlands Ranch at Valor High! ... So at a moment in time the district members met up and voted for delegates and alternates. At one point I wasn’t sure about going to state but changed my mind when they needed six alternates and stated yep I’ll go!”...
April 2nd was CD6 assembly in Aurora! The amount was a $5 badge fee which I paid for! Not many delegates showed up so they upgraded all of the alternates that showed up! Therefore allowing the delegates the right to vote for the national delegates! We picked 6 people out of 48 people! 3 delegates and 3 alternates!...
... I sat in our assigned area and when Cruz came up to speak, those that were Trump Fans remained silent the whole time! When the speaker for Trump came up we did clap a few times but he could not give us an energized performance like Darryl Glenn did! He rocked the house!
If Trump was there it would have been a huge difference but alas he snob his nose at the convention, and didn’t change minds like Mr. Glenn did! Chances are if he brought an energized speech he might have changed minds!
Btw there are 7 alternates voted for Trump! As well 2 Alternates from CD4! For 9 alternates for Trump if the Delegates cannot attend National!”
Darryl Glenn is the U.S. Senate nominee who I understand so impressed everybody.
