Ted Cruz backers have filled all 12 of the delegate slots at stake today in Colorado, swiftly navigating the complex process to consolidate support around his candidacy. His supporters now fill all 21 of the state’s allocated slots so far.

I really don’t really think that half dozen votes you were bringing to Trump are really that big of a concern to Ted Cruz.

But Hillary thanks you for y’all staying home.

Like your candidate, you skim the surface, never bothering to see the depth of the process, but then claim theft, because you never bothered to see how the game is really played.

Cynical, you bet.
Wrong, maybe.
Unknowable, not at all.

Trump and his team, like you, failed to do the necessary homework.

Were you part of your district’s delegate selection process? Are you a delegate? Did you know that such a thing exists and just leave it to others? Or were you entirely in the dark about how this work gets done?

A New Yorker named Trump continues to be VERY popular in Texas, much more popular than Cruz by many.

<><><><

did that sound profound to you when you wrote it?

Because all you have said is that those Texans who voted for Trump favor Trump over Cruz.

Not much of a revelation.

Here’s one reference re: Louisiana:

http://www.bayoubuzz.com/bb/item/1061586-trump-will-file-claim-with-rnc-over-cruz-s-louisiana-delegate-heist

I am told there are four other states, Colorado being one of them, and that this is just the beginning.

I expect Manafort is working with the lawyers on the case who will halt Cruz’ cheating by stopping improper delegates from being certified.

I am also told a consideration of a complaint is being studied for filing with the FEC over illegal Cruz coordination with a SuperPAC in Wisconsin where it is a matter of record that Cruz’ appearance at a SuperPAC event was turned into a commercial.

I admire the Trump Campaign for proper behavior. I can’t say that at all about the Cruz Campaign.

LOL Exactly...remember, DT thought about running over 30 years ago. He had ALL that time to learn about how the government works besides just buying congress critters and mayors and international leaders just to build vacation spots. Yup, that’s what America needs./s

Of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, 25 were lawyers. Of the 55 framers of the Constitution, 32 were lawyers. [ :) ]

Cruz got Guam as well. Guam is a qualifying entity.

LA may qualify too, since he got more delegates there as well.

Also, since Trump broke his support pledge , all 50 SC delegates are likely in play now.

At this point I don’t think either candidate can survive this bitter and insulting display of childish insulting and character assassinations.

Both Trump and Cruz are mortally damaged at this point. The candidates have ceased discussing how to save Anerica and instead are focused on making sure their opponents are so thoroughly slandered and libeled that neither of them could win election as dog catcher.

I find the childish banter on this forum between those who hate Cruz and those who hate Trump to be disgusting and demoralizing. At this point I hope neither of them gets the nomination as neither of them can win.

It is not just this forum, but every news site that allows comments. If you are bent on destroying the candidate you don’t want and your focus has been on destroying his opponent rather than simply giving reasons why the candidate you are supporting can be successful, then you will succeed only in ensuring that neither of them will be victorious in the end.

JMHO

When the GoPe and the Tool can’t win the minds and hearts of voters, turn to the process, yeah, that’ll win in November.

And if successful Hillary and the GoPe ecstatic. Fools, just fools.

The rules for selection of delegates are the rules. If you dont like them you should get involved in setting them. I did and got others involved. But it started 4 years ago. We did not get all that we wanted to get passed. But we did something.

You on the other hand have shown no desire to even learn the rules. It is not Cruzs fault that he is playing with the rules that are in place just as much as it is not Trumps fault.

But the rules are the rules that are in place. If you dont like them I suggest you actually get involved and change them rather than call others communist. You look childish and short sighted. I started working on this election in November when Odumbass got elected last time.

But really if Trump is not working to get these delegates because he does not like the rules how will he deal with other countries who have rules he does not like? By calling them names like you are doing?

There is nothing that Cruz is doing that Trump will now be doing, what with the bringing on Manafort, who has been around the block with the establishment more than a couple of times.

Trump could have and should have been doing this from the start. I sense that some of the ire directed at Cruz is coming from the realization that trump’s been outsmarted, and that’s hard to take when you know you’re the smartest guy in the room.

As trump will now be collecting delegates, will it still be considered cheating?

I LOVED Ted about six weeks ago.

There's your problem. Love / hate is passion / emotion / feelings.

Our Founders gave us a system to keep such from taking over. They hoped that citizens would make sober and informed judgements. They tried to erect roadblocks against the mob.

“Let’s talk about rule 50 ... rule 50 is that there is no way in hell that I can convince the people that I know, who supported Trump, to then support Cruz in the unlikely event that Cruz gets handed Trump’s stolen nomination ...they will laugh in our faces at the prospect of voting Cruz and they will sit it out ..Trump is the only reason they voted ...that’s rule 50, tell all the Cruzbots to study that one ...”

This could be the post of the day!

I was inclined to support Cruz early last year, mostly because of his superficial attention to returning this country to its Constitutional roots. I figured that if I didn’t vote for Cruz, then I wouldn’t vote at all (or vote Libertarian). Then Trump got in the race. I watched Trump with curiosity and more than a little scepticism. Then I performed my due diligence and investigated his past history and his present positions. I am not a “Trumpbot”. He showed insight in his policies and courage in stating the obvious that all the other candidates (including Cruz) refused to recognize. I was stunned by his ability to set the agenda of the race and watched with amazement at his ability to transfix crowds of millions that turned out to support him.

Now I see that the GOPe (including Cruz) have decided that Trump must be destroyed. The very cadre of GOPe crooks and criminals that have enabled the monster Hussein to deconstruct what was left of this benighted country, unopposed, during the past eight years have laughably argued that Trump isn’t “conservative” enough to suit them, the very cadre of GOPe crooks and criminals that would have foisted Yeb! on us all, with all of the NWO baggage and illegal alien invasion that entailed. Even after Trump has shown himself to be the only candidate, yes, the only candidate (sorry Cruzers, but Cruz fits into this statement, too) that has put America first and foremost, they continue to undermine Trump in every way possible, even though he is the most popular candidate the GOP has ever had. This is just totally and completely NUTS!

I watched all of this unfold with utter disgust for the GOPe and all of its cronies (including Cruz). I now realize that the United States of America as a Constitutional Republic is already dead, having been killed when the GOPe and the people allowed the monster Hussein to be illegally and fraudulently elevated (NOT “elected”) to a tyrannical position of “president” with the aid of a supine GOPe House and Senate as this happened.

Given this, I view Trump as the last chance for what was once the USofA to rise from the ashes. If the GOPe and their henchman Cruz orchestrate the total disenfranchisement of the millions of people that voted for Trump through their criminal usurpation of what remains of the electoral process, then I will cast a write-in vote for Trump in a futile protest and watch the chaos that will surely ensue as this country will be shaken to its foundations in a way not seen since 1861.
