A huge ego is a job requirement for running. Donald Trump has said as much and acknowledged same.
The narcissism and allusions to a disorder, as that author claims, is quite a stretch, though. If anyone fits that bill, it’s 0bama
There is healthy narcissism (strong belief in yourself) and there is unhealhty narcissistic personality disorder.
You don’t to have a personality disorder to be a politician, in fact most people are repelled by people with personality disorders over the long term.
Initially, they are interesting and “different” but after a while, they grate on you.
Of course but most do not have the “personality disorder” attached. Childish tweets and trashing of fellow citizens who dare disagree is not a pathway to winning.
But,but.......I thought one of the biggest reasons I've read on FR to vote for Trump was because wasn't a politician. Look, Trump blew it big time with the response to his loss, he doesn't usually screw up like this but he really set himself up with his prediction of big win just before the vote.
