Trump Support Fades As Mistakes Grow; Sanders, Clinton Tied: IBD/TIPP
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 4/4/2016 | John Merline

Posted on 04/04/2016 3:20:04 AM PDT by IBD editorial writer

A week of missteps has taken its toll on Donald Trump’s support among Republicans and the general public, the latest IBD/TIPP Poll shows. Trump’s lead against his GOP rivals narrowed considerably, and he fares worse against Hillary Clinton than he did in national surveys taken before last week.

That’s funny. I think that the tRump fans have turned into the worst of DU. You behave just like them. You guys try to run off anybody that doesn’t agree with them and have thrown under the bus all the conservatives that have fought for conservative ideas for years. Not only that you gossip about people and now consider the National Enquirer your paper of record.

Most Cruz supporters support him because we think he is the best of the bunch not because we think he’s the only person that can save America. We do not hero worship him like you do the Donald. If he does not win I’m not going to cry my eyes out and go into meltdown like you guys are. We don’t insist of having our own phony “Rally” thread where we go to gossip about everyone, pretend we are actually listening to anything the Donald says and generally just tell each other how great we and the Donald are. Your “Safe Place” that we always laugh about when college students insist of having one.

You guys wouldn’t know logic if it hit you in the face.

It is hard for folks to wake up on any given morning and realize that they have become exactly what they hate.

This is rich coming from EITHER side. What I have seen happen to FR this stupid season is a crying shame. 10% discussion, 90% personal derision and name calling.

By far worse than any other season, hope we pull through.

Oh, dear!

Trump is doomed - again???

Doomed, I say!

Doomed!

DOOMED!!!

That was three exclamation points, so it’s got to outweigh the question marks!

In this election season, I have to point out one detail that would have been obvious in most years: There may be a wee bit of sarcasm hidden in the above post.

DOOMED! We need Jeb! to the rescue, or Ryan? Anyone who supports Amnesty, Obamacare, and big government! I’m sure that’ll be much better?

My grandfather fought in the Solomon islands and lived a long life after the war. If he were alive today, he would probably say the same things.

Back in 2005, I was all excited to go on a business trip to Japan and I told my dad about the trip. He said, ‘I hate those G.D. bastards.’ I was shocked and didn’t understand why he hated them so much because today we have a peaceful relationship with Japan. I knew he grew up as a young boy in the 40’s so that probably had something to do with it.

It wasn’t that long ago that the world hung by a thread. And none of the young people today understand the sufferin that millions endured during WWII.

I recently read the book “Unbroken” and I was STUNNED at the brutality of the Japanese that our men suffered through! I had no idea that the Japanese basically thought they were divine and we were basically lower than gutter rats to them. I knew they were bad at the time, but I had no idea they were as bad or worse than the Nazi’s! After putting the book down, I realized why my dad is not a fan of the Japanese.

Just to give you some idea it is my understanding the when Hitler heard about the rape of Nanking he was shocked at the violence the Japanese inflicted on the Chinese. Ok IMO to shock Hitler in that regard is a major “mis accomplishment”.

I’ve been watching the Amazon series ‘the Man in the High Castle’. The story is based on the premise that America lost WWII and the Japanese occupy the west coast of the U.S. and the Germans occupy the east coast.

What is odd is that the Japs seem to be nicer to the Americans living under their rule than one would expect knowing the true history of the war. I suppose they tone it down for political correctness reasons but its a good show..

So we must be careful. Trumpkins live in an echo chamber. They act as the three proverbial monkeys and get rattled if anything is said or written about their “Dear Leader.”

Exactly on point. Hilary is thrashing Trump by 12% points, and Bernie is burying Trump with a 17% point difference. Meanwhile Trumpkins act like the three proverbial monkeys. Let’s hope Trump gets his rear-end knocked out of shape in the Big Cheese primary and this conman and snake oil salesman is exposed for who he is.

Trump’s previous wins were on the basis of a fractured primary with 17 candidates at the start. As the race winnows, even with Kasich still there, Trump is starting to lose and his victory margins are getting less and less. He got walloped in Utah. Let’s see what happens tomorrow.

If you’re feeling discouraged by media and haters, go get on Youtube and pull up the latest Trump rallys, and feel the magic of success as you watch them and remember what he stands for, and what YOU stand for.

Then, put down the keyboard, and stay out of discouraging FRthreads. Stick to the supportive ones.

Or, go to the Trump website, buy yourself a “Keep America Great’’ hat, and take your dog for a walk!

We need to start blocking this kind a crap nonsense.

Sounds like a good way to become DU-lite.

The ignorance of today’s high school and college students is astounding.

Why do we allow it?

Tokyo Rose and Berlin Betty and Axis Sally must be laughing their asses off by now!

The Left can truly say “mission accomplished” when you look at the American educational system.

The Right can say; like the German populace did about Auschwitz; "We didn't know this was happening."

What we have done to conservatism is a damn shame.

What Conservatism/Republicanism has NOT done for this Country is a damn shame!
