Ted’s Hypocrisy is ABOUT to Derail His Candidacy

Whether you like Heidi Cruz or (because of Goldman Sachs) dislike her, there is zero question, she has become a victim in what is shaping up to be a very ugly campaign assault on her husband's character. Heidi is just another victim in a long line of famous politician wives who have had to endure the public humiliation of cheating husbands. Probably the most famous are Hillary Clinton, Jacquelin Kennedy, Ike's wife Mamie and Eleanor Roosevelt. All of these revered First Ladies (yes even Hillary was liked early on) had to endure the hardship of smiling in public all the while having their hearts ripped out by their philandering spouses.

Mmmhmmmm. Teddy is a lawyer. He knows the law. He has the ability to seek justice through the courts. If he is being truthful, then he has a right, no a DUTY to discourage this sort of reprehensible conduct through the courts.

Oh and let us not forget that there are five women so far that have had their reputations impacted. I would think that Teddy would want to protect their reputations.

Given that these scandalous stories are untrue of course.

But we all know he wont do that, and we all know why.

Yes - because he is busy campaigning non-stop against liberals and everyone knows the National Enquirer exists to sell papers, no matter how they achieve that goal.

The anatomy of exposing an adulterer is not a one day put up and shut up.

It unfolds and this is going to be no different.

Live with it.

they say that Cruz knew about this line of attack was coming weeks ago. I notice that during that time period Cruz has stepped up his attacks on Trump, for example: claiming that Trump was responsible for the Chicago riot, and the disruption at his events; his implying that Trump’s stand on NATO was somehow connected with the ISIS attack in Brussels; plus the attack on Trump’s wife from an obvious Cruz supporting Super PAC. Now we have Cruz engaged almost exclusively saying that Trump is responsible for the National Enquirer story.

I think that Cruz has ramped up his attacks as a way of deflecting the NE story, but that his over-the-top response may have actually backfired on him.

“have had to endure the public humiliation of cheating husbands”

So, Cruz’s cheating has been PROVED?

I didn’t know.

Hey Swapfox,

Can you say anything positive about Cruz or are you only able to throw insults at Trump supporters?

Meanwhile, Trump has admitted committing adultery -- a fact conveniently ignored by his cheering section.

Not really. While not condoning adultery, we cheer honesty as opposed to cruise-style hypocrisy and lies.

“she has become a victim in what is shaping up to be a very ugly campaign assault on her husband’s character. Heidi is just another victim in a long line of famous politician wives “

Couldn’t....Care....Less.
First she IS a politician and a huge chunk of her work was to flood Mexicans in for Bush and to eventually ERASE the border for her GS owners. Also to get GS a friendly person t=in the white house. I care about her as much as she cares about the land I live in.

Second, before she clutches her pearls and heads for the fainting couch, she clearly placed her job and political agenda ahead of her family. So as trendy as being “the good wife” is, she is neither.

She deserves it all in my opinion.

Pecker has protected himself from a lawsuit by reporting this as what it is, rumor. Case precedent says it is legal to report rumors as long as they are specified as rumors.

After months of digging, no evidence has been produced. Only Trump’s good friend, Pecker, would print this. Reputable outlets turned it down for lack of evidence.

Mmmhmmmm. And if he doesn’t sue, how long do you think his campaign survives as the details drip out? NE is all about the money. They want to sell copy. They won’t show all their cards at once and with one edition.

“had to endure the hardship of smiling in public all the while having their hearts ripped out by their philandering spouses.”

America had to endure having OUR hearts ripped out by people like her, philandering with bankers and politicians to erase the border. Not a bit of sympathy from me.

You mean like how Trump reads the Bible more than anyone else? Or steak-gate? Or how impossible it is to hire Americans to work at his resorts?

Since the National Enquirer is usually right, Michelle Obama and Todd Palin must be suffering in silence over their spouse's affairs.

He knows the law. He has the ability to seek justice through the courts. If he is being truthful, then he has a right, no a DUTY to discourage this sort of reprehensible conduct through the courts.

He's got three years to do this. He's got to win an election RIGHT NOW!

What good does it do him to sue these people if it costs him the election RIGHT NOW?

The most effective method of dealing with a smear campaign is to address it once, then ignore it thereafter. Keeping it in the public eye just serves the interest of his opponent. As Lyndon Johnson said about one of his political opponents:

"“I know,” (that it isn't true) Johnson replied. “But let’s make the sonofabitch deny it.”
