Unfortunately, a lot of folks just stubbornly want to believe that Trump was involved, and no amount of reasoning will ever change their minds. Very sad.
As I've gotten older, I've gotten better at detecting when someone is in denial. And when that's the case, it's best to just move on and not waste your time or words trying to convince them of anything.
Of course, we all go into denial at times, so it's not like I haven't ever been there myself. But sadly, some folks never seem to come out of it. :(
I think that it is human nature to not want to see the bad side of those we love and those that we have invested ourselves in.
I don’t know that I can convince people to agree with my take on this. My take could well be wrong too.
But I think a shady game is being played here to achieve the goal the GOP wants.
They are in charge of the machinery. They are just letting us use it.
How dare we tell them how it’s going to be?
This is war, and the GOP doesn’t want to lose to us.
That’s so right. It’s pointless to keep bickering back and forth with a lot of the same people using a lot of the same rhetoric, when nobody is going to change their mind.
People are deeply invested and when it’s obvious they’ve lost all reason it’s a waste of time to bother with.
