Ted Cruz: “Trump Threatened My Wife” [VIDEO]
Red State ^ | March 23, 2016 | Sara Gonzales

Posted on 03/23/2016 9:13:08 AM PDT by GodGunsGuts

Ted Cruz spoke to Chris Cuomo this morning on CNN about the Twitter battle that took place between the two of them last night on Western Tuesday. This is what he had to say:

TRANSCRIPT

Cruz: But what Donald did last night, and listen, you’re in New York, you’ve seen this a lot. When Donald gets scared, when he gets angry, when he’s threatened, he begins yelling, he begins screaming, he begins often cursing, and he begins trying to be a bully. So last night Donald threatened my wife, he went directly after my wife. And I gotta tell you, number one- Heidi, my wife, she’s the daughter of missionaries in Africa, she’s my best friend in the world, and if Donald wants to get in a character fight, he’s better off sticking with me because Heidi is way out of his league. But it is also– it reveals a lot about character, it reveals a lot about class, that Donald’s instinct is to try to attack my wife and sully her. And you know what, that should be beneath Donald. But you know Chris, the reason he’s doing that? Is because he had a very bad night last night. He got clobbered in Utah. Remember Donald campaigned in Utah, he tried to win in Utah, and he got blown out of the water. And he is seeing Republican uniting behind our campaign.

He’s not wrong.

Red State is the source of the attack on Melania Trump through their super-pac Make America Awesome.

Red State has overtly supported Cruz for some time now.

This article is in Red State quoting Cruz.

So, let’s be honest.

Trump’s wife was attacked first by surrogates of Ted Cruz.

Teddy, your wife is a loony tune. Maybe if you had left Melania alone, he would have left crazy Heidi alone.

They’re certainly crybullies.

They condemn PC and boldly call other women whores, bimbos and sluts, then cry about ‘slut shaming’ when Trump’s wife is criticized for her behavior.

Trump is not squealing. He’s saying, “Oh, so wives are fair game now. Ok, Yours isn’t all clean; want to go there”.

As for Cruz having nothing to do with the PAC, I liken him to the priest on the road to Jericho. All talk, no action. He knows it’s for the benefit of his campaign and he can stop it just by saying so but he chooses to speak about scripture, righteousness and forgiveness but then with a wink and a not he tries to shame a women. This man will never ever have my support. Go through the years I’ve been on this site and you’ll see me on his side (if you don’t believe my words) but he’s an absolute jerk now that I know him much better and is not someone I would ever want to see hold higher office.

You are dreaming of a world where Ted Cruz is the good guy and Heidi who has an extensive establishment career, as does Cruz until he decided to try and play the outside, is not a threat to American sovereignty.

In the last part of the Task Force’s report, “Additional and Dissenting Views,” Heidi S. Cruz wrote (pp. 33-34):

“I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector.

There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us—truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants.”

Their plan:

Merge “immigration and refugee policies”
Establish a continental NAU “security perimeter”
Transfer $100 billion to Mexico in 10 years for “infrastructure development”
Create Security and Prosperity Partnership institutions to execute executive, legislative and judicial powers
Create a North American passport.

The treaty also called the current concept of “sovereignty” obsolete and said U.S., Canadian, and Mexican citizens need to be “reeducated” to view themselves as “North Americans.”

Get one tv and I absolutely denounce this type of campaigning and I demand that these ads immediately stop airing. Families are off limits!. See how easy that would be, he doesn’t do it because he accepts it and you know that. He wants votes anyways he can get them. Such a man shouldn’t be President

“Trump punched his ticket by telling Cruz if you think this is OK (Silence is assent) then turn about is fair play.”

“Turn about is fair play.” I see, so even though you condemn the ad, you’d have no trouble having Ducking Donnie personally (not by a PAC) attack Cruz’s wife?

So, in other words, “an eye for any eye, a tooth for a tooth”?

You have no problem with dirty tactics, as long as it’s personally done by your guy?

I understand now.

“Funny, nobody had a problem with Red State...”

I did. I disagreed with one of their writers in the comment section several months ago regarding the 1st FNC “debate”. I was polite & concise. Wrote nothing untoward to the writer. Just politely disagreed with the piece. They banned me from commenting there for that.

That they support Lyin’ Ted is just another reason to ignore anything & everything posted from their site, IMO. Have a nice day :)

The PAC that went after Mrs. Trump is suspect due to the shady leadership of some of those at the tippy-top.

Wait until that all comes out and then see how fast Ted suddenly distances himself.

I’ve seen people in the past working to get FR shut down, turning the site owner into the IRS; digging dirt on family members; digging dirt on users; trying to get people fired from jobs; I had personal emails released to try and embarrass me because I stood up for FR (as if I should be shamed by that!). All along the way, there were plenty of idiots who played along with those tactics and tried to make excuses for going along WITH it, without engaging in it. Just like Ted!

Gutter wallowing never changes, and there is still no excuse for it.

It’s likely Cruz didn’t know about it in advance. However, he should have condemned the ad & didn’t. Shame on the PAC. Shame on Cruz again. Have a nice day.

Because Trump isn’t a RINO...No more than he is a conservative, liberal, democrat, or republican...He is NOT a politician...
He is a successful businessman whose businesses rely on the conditions of the USA...He has seen the direction the country has gone the last 20 years and knows if it continues on the path it is on, his businesses will suffer just as the country suffers...He sees the people who are in a place to correct the problems don’t care about anything but their own selves and haven’t for many years...

These “professional politicians” (BOTH parties) care about nothing except staying in power...All the politician can do is talk and then sit back...They actually do nothing but laugh at behind closed doors....

Trump wants to raise America out of the pit it’s in and this, in turn, will help ALL real working Americans, not to mention his businesses...

So many of you people in here are so blinded by the politicians and the words they throw around like candy at a Christmas Parade...Do you actually believe there is a true “conservative” in Washington????

See, unlike you, I don’t look for the “R” or the “D” or the Conservative or the liberal...I look to see who will help the country get back to where it should be...

You go ahead and stay “political”...That’s all you see...

I say he should. Common decency says he should.

Cruz doesn’t get the pass, because he has no link or control over a PAC.

Either he thinks it’s okay to go after Mrs. Trump for modeling without clothes on, or he doesn’t think it’s okay.

If he didn’t speak out against it—what does that say about him? It clearly signals to Mr. Trump, that wives are no longer off-limits.

It really IS that simple.

No you understand nothing.

You tell a guy “turn about is fair play” because he doesn’t have the moral fiber to see it on his own. Its a wake up call. That doesn’t mean you do it. It means you remind him the option is on the table. If he’s got more than a dim bulb he says, you are right I don’t want to go there. Issue solved.

I am sure this is not a tactic that Cruz seeks, and I doubt he sees it as an effective strategy.

Furthermore, I doubt very seriously this ad had any positive effect on the election in Utah in Cruz’s favor. In fact, if I were an undecided voter, it would be a turnoff for me.

Cruz is too smart to stoop that low, and his verbal attacks against Trump have been overwhelmingly been based upon the issues. That’s why I don’t think he would have anything to do with this. He wants to bring in voters, not alienate them.

So you can prove Cruz had nothing to do with the dirty deal??? That’s GREAT!!!! I guess you have access to all the “back door” dealings done by campaigns....You need to bring all this proof out for everyone to see....
