Republican Elite determined to elect Hillary
Canada Free Press ^ | 03/19/16 | Jeff Crouere

Unfortunately, the sad, but disturbing, truth is that many in the Republican Party leadership would much prefer President Hillary Clinton to President Donald Trump

The hysteria coming from GOP conservative purists and party insiders about Donald Trump is reaching ridiculous proportions. Talk show host Glenn Beck has compared the Republican frontrunner to Hitler, while Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse has thundered that he will never support Trump if he is the nominee.

The problem for these Trump haters is that he has garnered an impressive 7.5 million votes to date, along with 679 delegates. In the process, he has won 19 states, more than double the number for his nearest competitor, Texas Senator Ted Cruz. He is clearly energizing Americans across the country and winning in every region of the country.

Same as it ever was.

The GOP handed the election to the Dems in 1992, 1996, 2008, and 2012. The only reason the Dems didn’t win in 2000 and 2004 is that W was a “compassionate conservative” which means he was basically a socialist, which passes the GOP litmus test. The only reason the Dems didn’t win in 1980 and 1984 is that Reagan defied the GOP.

The GOP, as the right wing of the Democratic Socialist Party, has been the REAL problem for decades. The GOP as we know it needs to GO!!!

Hillary will keep the corrupt money train rolling.

Trump won’t.

The goal of the RNC/GOP is to block the citizens from electing anyone who would stop The Cheap Labor Express.
They have always produced the amnesty candidate they get paid for.

If the GOP had put up this “defeat trump” type fight against the kenyan they definitely would have defeated him.

The GOP9e) and other haters of Trump remind me of an old one—
The TITANIC is down 35’ by the bow, but the 1st officer is seen smiling as he walks the deck. “Why are you so happy?”, asks the 4th officer.
“I’ve always hated that stuck-up Captain Smith. This will ruin his reputation and record for sure. Makes my day.”
The GOP(e) would rather the country drown in freezing waters than see an OUTSIDER elected by the voters, and a President Hillary will happily wave to them as they go under, along with the rest of US.

The only thing pure about the GOPe is self-interest.

His support comes from mostly from a single demographic if you can call it that. These are angry white middle to lower middle class citizens of which I am one. And too often, being angry (as we should be) we assume that a majority of Americans are likewise,...but we should not assume that they are angry for the same reasons. I would speculate that Trump’s general election support is a function of his primary support which will never get close to 50% even if Kasich and Cruz were to drop out. Trump cannot win a general election against Hillary Clinton. His negatives are too high and there is little evidence of his being willing or able to elaborate informed statements on how he would address the nation’s most urgent problems. I hope that the convention mechanisms resolve the issue or that Trump undergoes a poltical metamorphosis that will enable a GOP victory in 2016. But right now I would say there is no possibility for that to happen. I am more apprehensive that I am excited over the prospect of a Donald Trump campaign for president.

” The only reason the Dems didn’t win in 2000 and 2004 is that W was a “compassionate conservative” which means he was basically a socialist, which passes the GOP litmus test.”

Actually the GOPe wanted McCain in 2000, but ‘tolerated’ Bush. They were actually waiting for Jeb back then, but it took Jeb a second try to win Florida.

Bottom line - we would have also LOST IN 2000, had the GOPe gotten their way.

I don’t care if Cruz is a ‘better conservative’ than Trump - the GOPe NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED. Trump will do that, Cruz, almost certainly, will not be able to do that (either due to him needing their money, and/or simply not winning in November).

However they will vote for Ted Cruz but would choose Hillary over Trump. That is all one needs to know. Vote Trump.

“Hillary will keep the corrupt money train rolling.

Precisely. By all appearances it looks like Ted has cut a deal with the insiders to keep the corrupt money train going.

What we call the Democratic and Republican parties have joined together for the purpose of maintaining their money, perks and power. If this fusion hurts the American citizen is a matter about which they are supremely indifferent.

Since most people are spoon-fed from the media, I doubt you know that this ‘single demographic’ represents about 50% of the voting public.

I think you are wrong. Donald Trump draws huge crowds, generates energy and enthusiasm among previously apathetic non-voters. I saw this phenomenon once before, a candidate claimed by the elites to be non-electable, hated and despised by the media, feared by the left, and his name was Ronald Reagan. Donald Trump will win, and he will have coattails if these idiotic elites will just shut up!
