Like thousands of others, I attended the Donald Trump rally in West Boca on Sunday night. Like many others, I procured a general admission ticket after registering online. Like many others, I used my smartphone to take photos, videos and post on social media during the event, held at a county park.
Unlike nearly all the others, I was confronted with a stark choice by a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy at 8:40 p.m., while Trump was still speaking: Leaving immediately or "going to jail."
I left.
"Tell him we're trespassing him," a Trump campaign official told the deputy.
The campaign official told me his name was Justin. He would not give me his full name or tell me his position, even though I identified myself and gave him my business card.
"Just Justin," he told me a minute earlier, when he approached me and objected to me taking video of people leaving the rally early, while Trump was still on stage.
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way," Justin told me....

I was there and the press had a separate entrance! The media was allover the place!
And one more thing. Some folks, as I did. left early due to the traffic .....cars were lined up for miles and people still had to walk to get in. There is only one way in. The parking lot was full and cars were put in the fields by the thousands!

Second, you have absolutely ZERO evidence to support your claim. In fact, factual evidence supports the opposite....

So? If you’re on someone else’s property and they ask to have you trespassed, then you go, regardless of having a ticket or having been allowed or invited earlier.
1. It was a private event
2. The journalist was deceptive
3. The press often has special access before, during, and after an event. This is why they HAVE TO BE CREDENTIALLED! Maybe this guy was there to disrupt or heck maybe even try to kill Trump! His press badge would give him special access...
4. He was given the opportunity to go to the press box. He refused, likely because he didn’t have appropriate media access and would have been denied entry.
5. What dissent? Nowhere does it appear this guy was a “protester.” Being a jerk journalist isn’t dissent.
And lastly the Sun Sentinel should be ashamed on of their journalists would pull an idiot stunt like this at a private event with Secret Service. He should be FIRED! What an embarrassment!
