Only an Amendment to the Constitution calling for Term Limits (even for Federal Supreme Court Justices) and making it a federal CRIME to solicit on behalf of outside companies as a lobbyist once a person is voted out of office or when their term is up! Nothing short of that will stop the political class’ CORRUPTION!!

Oh, my....

http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/2015/06/cruz-book-rove-bullied-him-over-bush41-support-and-called-bush-too-old-for-such-judgments.html/

June 28, 2015

“My call to Mr. Cruz apparently didn’t offend him back then because he continued seeking my counsel about his political ambitions, specifically his 2012 bid for the U.S. Senate,” Rove said. “One piece of advice I offered was that he should stop describing himself as the `next Marco Rubio,’ since he did not have Senator Rubio’s outstanding legislative record of accomplishments as speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.” (Full statement below.)

The run-in took place during Cruz’s short-lived campaign for state attorney general in 2009. George P. Bush – son of Jeb Bush, and now the Texas land commissioner –offered to introduce him to his grandfather, who turned 91 this month.

Ted Cruz book

Cruz flew to the Bush compound in Kennebunkport, Maine. He ended up hitting it off with the 41st president. He scored an afternoon on the boat with him and Barbara Bush with a stop for lobster rolls along the coast. Bush lent him some clothes so he wouldn’t have to wear his suit – including jeans and a belt buckle that read “President of the United States.”

Cruz called it “surreal” to be wearing Bush’s clothes.

Rove – George W. Bush’s longtime consigliore — heard about the meeting and called Cruz, livid.

“He was irate, demanding, ‘What in the hell do you think you are doing?!’” the senator writes. “Texas donors were giving the Bushes tens of millions, including major donors who were supporting the Dallas state rep who wanted to run for attorney general” – Cruz doesn’t name him, but was referring to Dan Branch – and those donors “were now berating Karl.”

Then, in a passage that could – intentionally or not — sow divisions in the Bush orbit, Cruz asserts that Rove denigrated the aging Bush’s mental capacity.

“He suggested that the elder Bush was too old to have good judgment anymore,” Cruz writes. “I was offended by that characterization and knew from my visit with 41 that it wasn’t remotely true.”

Rove demanded that Cruz return the check, but it had already been cashed. Cruz did give into pressure to keep quiet about Bush’s support, though.

The meeting was held at St. Simons Island, Georgia. It has a ignominious history of Shadow Power Brokers planning our clueless plight.
Federal Aviation Administration records available on FlightAware.com show that a fleet of private jets flew into and out of two small airports near Sea Island this weekend. Fifty-four planes flew out of the airport on St. Simons Island, Georgia, on Sunday -- nearly four times as many as departed from the airport the previous Sunday.

On November 22, 1910, Aldrich called a meeting of the banking establishment and members of the National Monetary Commission, which was proposed by Henry P. Davison (a partner of J. P. Morgan). Aldrich said that he intended to keep them isolated until they had developed a “scientific currency for the United States.”

All those summoned to the secret meeting, were members of the Illuminati. They met on a railroad platform in Hoboken, New Jersey, where they chartered a private railroad car owned by Aldrich to Georgia. They were taken by boat, to Jekyll Island, off the coast of Brunswick, Georgia. Jekyll Island is in a group of ten islands, including St. Simons, Tybee, Cumberland, Wassau, Wolf, Blackbeard, Sapelo, Ossabow, and Sea Islands. Jekyll Island was a ‘hideaway resort of the rich,’ purchased in 1888 by J. P. Morgan, Henry Goodyear, Joseph Pulitzer, Edwin and George Gould, Cyrus McCormick, William Rockefeller (John D. Rockefeller’s brother), William K. Vanderbilt, and George F. Baker (who founded Harvard Business School with a gift of $5 million) for $125,000 from Eugene du Bignon, whose family owned it for a century.

Up until the time it was converted into a public resort, no uninvited foot ever stepped on its shores. It was said, that when all 100 members of the Jekyll Island Hunting Club sat down for dinner at the clubhouse, it represented a sixth of the world’s wealth. St. Simons Island, a short distance away, to the north, was also owned by Illuminati interests.

In 1957 the first U.S. conference was held on St. Simons Island, Georgia, with $30,000 from the Ford Foundation.

I just noticed that I left off the identity of the group that held the first U.S. conference in 1957.
The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is an annual, unofficial, invitation-only conference of approximately 120 to 140 guests from North America and Western Europe, most of whom are people of influence.[2][3] About one-third are from government and politics, and two-thirds from finance, industry, labour, education and communications. Meetings are closed to the public.

I guess I never need to run for President then.

My wife owns an international property holding company.

She is not Trump rich but well off enough that my late MIL used to bitch and moan about me being a kept man. (The term in Chinese is a man who eats soft rice)

Cruz look more and more like the devious Uriah Heep.

Dickens wrote Heep as a scheming, obsequious character...the paradigm ***-kisser.... secretly plotting, always ingratiating himself into the good graces of his betters.

No one knows this better than Donald.

Notice the ill-fitting suit jacket...Cruz went into his act.....managed to get
it from Donald. He/s used this act before .....to get clothes from GHWB.

It’s about the incest between officials in Washington and corporations buying those pols, in large part through their spouses.

Go back and look at the list of folks who attended the “Stop Trump” meeting in GA last week. And whose spouses are lobbyists, making $$$$ lobbying the spouse and/or his/her colleagues.

You know, like Michelle Obama was suddenly paid $300K+ by the University of Chicago hospital for ‘community outreach’ after her husband was elected to the U.S. Senate,

AND, the determination of those so affected to “Stop Trump” who has exposed so much of it and will work to end it.

Otherwise, nothing.

So we are into conspiracy theories now! How about Trump’s holdings abroad; Ivanka Trump clothing line all comes from Asia; Trumps shirts, ties, suits. He himself said H1-B visas are great before he spun it around in under 24-hours.

Are you saying the meeting did not happen? Are you taking your meds? It is a know fact that the meeting happened. Just Google "stop Trump meeting in Georgia" and find at least a hundred news articles about it. So now a known fact becomes a conspiracy theory in your Steelfish mind.

By the way, how does Trump’s holdings possibly have anything to do with your supposed conspiracy theory?

When Members of Congress Sleep With Lobbyists

In Congress, relatives lobby for bills before family members

In 2007, in the wake of the biggest lobbying scandal in decades, Congress limited the ability of family members to lobby their relatives in the House or Senate. But it declined to ban the practice entirely.

Since then, 56 relatives of lawmakers have been paid to influence Congress. More than 500 firms have spent more than $400 million on lobbying teams that include the relatives of members, according to a Washington Post analysis of disclosure forms.

Thanks for posting. Excellent work!

Sad to see the number of “elected representatives of the people” that are more than happy to usurp the will of the poeple for a tech billionare contribution from the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS CROWD :(

Most names did not surprise me, a few did :( That said, I will remember them all during their next election cycles.

Go Trump!

It’s an old adage really, that tough times bring out strong people. In the Catholic Church we have a saying that when times are hard God gives us saints.
The phrase loosely means do not despair, God will provide.
I’m not saying Trump is a saint- but I do believe his time is now.

That may very well be.
God has tended to use the weak to accomplish his tasks. Their strength is Him and not in themselves.
I’m sure you’d agree with that, and why I take offense to something like that.
FReep on FRiend.
