I agree with this article. I posted these reasons (why Trump is winning) on another thread:
94.5 million Americans are out of work.
Millions of Americans are sick and tired of being called racist simply because they’re white.
Millions of Americans are sick and tired of hearing about “white privilege”.
Millions of Americans are sick and tired of the horrendous race relations in this country.
Millions of Americans don’t believe there’s anything courageous about elective surgery (aka Tranny Fatigue).
Millions of Americans are tired of their President apologizing for America.
Millions of Americans are concerned about saddling our children, grandchildren, etc., with 10 TRILLION in new debt.
Millions of Americans are sick and tired of people coming into this country ILLEGALLY.
Millions of Americans are sick and tired of this anemic economy, growing at a paltry 1%.
Millions of Americans are sick and tired (really tired) of having to work 2+ of Obama’s McJobs.
The Left can thank Mr. Obama for all of the above.
I read the NYT article on how the Clinton campaign plans to beat Trump.
The thing that immediately struck me on why they’re going to lose is their plan to delve deep into polling data on why Trump was succeeding where he has and co-opt it.
None of the political establishment, left or right, gets it. Bernie supporters are as livid as those on the right but arguably for the wrong reasons.
The one thing the Occupy crowd and the Tea Party has in common is that they are both sick of the establishment and status quo. Believe it or not they are the same coin but different sides of it.
The Occupy crowd sees business and corporations as the issue. They’re half right. All of their targets are all beneficiaries of an oligarchy and being deeply in bed with the government through self-serving bills written by lobbyists and passed with glowing “Good for business.” PR statements.
The Tea Party sees an overreaching government hindering small business and going against the wishes of their votes intent. They react to open borders and a lack of real opportunity where talent, competitive capitalism and money are centered around government favored companies written by lobbyists and passed with glowing “Good for business.” PR statements.
Both sides love Bernie and Trump for much the same basic principle big money and absolute power has corrupted politics absolutely. However the left has not come up with enough testicular fortitude to overthrow their old guard. There is still enough belief that Clinton is a savior even though their much heralded Bill never won a term with a majority of the popular vote. He waltzed into his first term with 44% of that vote.
Polls will never substitute for leadership. Republicans ignored the polls to the point of their own demise and Democrats, being the good socialists/authoritarians they are, just believe the right people haven’t interpreted it yet.
Not today.
Maybe tomorrow.
I find it fascinating that Hillary’s campaign slogan is “Fighting for us”. In all seriousness, who are these fragile dimwits who think they need Hillary to fight for them?
Remarkably, Rusty Feingold is also running again with a similar slogan, as in, “Russ for Us”. If I were a Democrat I would be ashamed and embarrassed to have people think that I’m so stupid and so weak that I actually, somehow, believed I need some politician “fighting” for me. Which raises another point, if they are fighting for me, just WHO is my foe?
Look at all of the crap the Obama administration has gotten away with, fast and furious, IRS scandal, Solyndra, Brnghazi, etc. Yet the Dems are going to clean sweep us this year. Hillary will be Pres, the Senate will go Dem and the house will see a huge gain for the jackass party.
It’s enough to make you lose your mind.
And the RINO’s falling in line behind Obama.
The surrogates better have asbestos underwear because Obama will fire on them as well as Hillary. The poor bastards will have Trump surrounded.
