I’m voting, no matter who the nominee is. Who would stay at home swigging the beer and slinging the complaints? The same Dum-Dum Purists who stayed at home last time in 2012, refusing to vote for Mitt for some insubstantial reason, #1. “Because Mitt was Mormon”. So what? Not a good reason. There are plenty examples of Mormons doing and promoting good in society. Not everybody has to be the exact same religion, not in today’s world.

#2.
“Because Mitt seemed to support Amnesty at one time” Not a good reason either. I have recently concluded that all of today’s American politicians support some form of what can be labled as Amnesty. Yes, all of them on both sides.
#3. “Because the nominee ‘is not Reagan’”. News Flash, no body is. Nor should anybody pretend to be. R. Reagan was the best man for that time in American History. We have moved and away on from that page, far, far away.

Trump irritates me far more than Mitt. I know there won’t be any progress on abortion. The best we can hope for is maybe a justice Kennedy if we’re lucky. Do I trust him to protect the country from illegals and Muslims? That I believe he will follow through on. Everything else is a bargaining chip to Trump, IMO. So yes, I suppose if it’s a choice of being overrun by violent migrants and not being overrun, which Democrats seem bent on making a reality, I would vote for Trump. But an American should be able to expect more.

“Dum-Dum Purists who stayed at home last time in 2012, refusing to vote for Mitt for some insubstantial reason...”

The reasons were not insubstantial. They were many, and they were egregious in the extreme.

I posted Mitt’s dismal liberal governing record on Free Republic more times than I care to remember. It’s a record that would make any liberal Democrat blush with pride, and by all rights, should have prevented him from winning the nomination in the first place.

That said, it finally did come down to just him against the Marxist Usurper. Where else were our people supposed to go?

It was a suck a&& election that I don’t care to remember.

Mitt would of done the same as obama, maybe only a little slower. I wouldn’t go on wasting time on that dead horse.
