President Trump and Vice President Carson will be an excellent team. Each has qualities the other lacks: Carson is modest and soft spoken, Trump is not. Trump knows how business works and how to negotiate deals. Carson does not. Both love America and want to help us to make her great again.

All too often, our perceptions of candidates are based, not on what they actually say and do, but on what opposing candidates and their supporters claim.

Don't want Trump/Carson? Then let's just keep things the way they are because the country's in the very best of hands. Isn't it?

Excuse me. I need some medicine.

“The other thing about Jeff Sessions is that Trump will need Jeff Sessions in the US Senate in order to be able to clean up that sewer.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Good point. I feel the same about Cruz. Plus we will need every seat we can muster in the Senate. We are definitely vulnerable to lose the Senate without a clear Presidential victory.
I’m willing to sacrifice a bit ideologically on the VP pick IF we get eight years of Trump.
I’m not interested in either one of these bottom feeding low lifes.
I don’t think so beause they are both outsiders, and Carson doesn’t bring much that Trump doesn’t already have.
Now I’ll really get people upset, but: Kasich.
Kasich has a long resume INside goverment at the state and national level as well as in business. He understand Trumps language and would bring administrative experience that would be helpful in restructuring and streamlining government. He has done a great job as Governor of Ohio.
Sure he’s a little wimpy and on the kum-bay-ya side, but he’d have a great strong Boss who’d call the shots. And he could bring a purple state that Trump will need in the general election. He’s got a similar demeanor to Carson’s, which would balance out the boldness of Trump for those who feel that’s a problem.
The VP does not set the policy direction - tell me one thing Joe Biden or Al Gore did other than show up?
Selecting a VP is not personal, it’s business.
It’s going to be Trump/Cruz
No
I don’t see how ANYONE could support Kasich over Rubio. Kasich is for Common Core, expanded Medicaid, and starving local budgets so the state can support deep pocket donors. Kasich is awful about allowing to the point of encouraging the invasion of the US. Rubio has come around to the need to stop the invasion before anything else can happen. Besides that, Rubio fills Trump’s gap in foreign policy knowledge.
That is good. Or Trump/Newt.
Palin already failed as a VP candidate. Trump won’t offer and doubt she would accept. Trump may have other designs for her.
He already said he’s going to pick a “POLITICIAN”, someone in politics already.
He wants someone to ‘consult’ with him about the ‘politics structure’.
That is a very SMART move if he intends to accomplish what he needs and wants to accomplish.
He will need to deal with the “politicians” to get legislation passed, so he’s going to select a VP who “knows” the process.
I bet it will be a Senator or a Governor for VP.
And he knows how the DC apparatus works since he was there as a congressman, and of course being governor of a battleground state makes him a logical choice.
Well, Rubio is getting ready to be without a job soon...
Maybe he is “The Apprentice”?
I hope not.
Rubio is not eligible. Neither of his parents were U.S. Citizens at the time of his birth. He is NOT a natural born Citizen.
Kasich wouldn’t be the worst choice for Veep. I do like Carson a lot and I think he would bring more to the ticket than most people do. Cruz is the dark horse, but he would be magnificant in debates.
But I think Trump may have someone in mind we haven’t heard about yet. He is full of surprises, after all.
People wasting their time speculating on ‘dream’ tickets, and ‘visual’ tickets, that will have no practical impact on the “governing” process.
TRUMP is not going to “waste” a VP appointment, and by “waste” I mean a “Joe Biden” pick.
I agree wholeheartedly.
That’s what I was thing.....Ben Carson as Secretary of Health and Human Services.
And then there is Rick Perry, who is out of work at the moment and a former very successful governor in a very bit and powerful state AND a southerner to complement Trump’s northeast status.
He might be my overall pick for VEEP.
Newt would bring a level of wisdom and experience Trump could lean on. If Rubio continues with 2nd place finishes it could be him as well. Kasich is definitely in the mix. These are all flawed too in some ways. What it is—
“If he chooses a politician as he said he would, who is your guess?”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Trump is not afraid to think out of the box. He will certainly not be swayed by any establishment organizations.
Marsha Blackburn?
Maybe Kasich (to win Ohio), as long as like with Rubio, Trump could fully implement his immigration policy. Say what you will about Kasich, he knows how to get things done.
JC Watts?
Now there is one I hadn’t considered.
Santorum as well.
